This safety hand signal system encourages drivers in particular and passengers of motor vehicles to stop breaking road laws and Save Lives
Drivers/passengers communicate hand safety messages to other drivers/passengers via a simple one handed signal
The person giving the signs is referred to as the "signaller", and uses the hand signals to give raod safety instructions to other drivers/passengers as situations arise to the person(s) receiving the hand signs referred to as "the receiver"
The basic technique (by the signaller) is to use a flat horizontal hand in a back and forth motion across the neck region (either after a short toot of the car horn [maybe]) by pointing fingers to the throat region to attract the attention of the other drivers/passengers being the receiver
The next movement of the single hand is a basic hand display that relates to a particular component of road safety - i.e.no mobile phone useage while driving, no make up, no smoking with children in the car and so on
The receiver is then obliged to rectify the road safety challenge given by the signaller
We believe this communication system will help promote uniform road safety both on and off the roadways
The hand signals are direct, specific and clean cut with the specific parameters being transmitted or being conveyed
