ςHIT & MISS GAS ENGINE McCormick-Deering Part 1 tubalcain
Tubalcain demonstrates an antique HIT & MISS GAS ENGINE by McCormick-Deering (model M). Actually, this is a throttle governed engine. A big thanks to Phil for the operating manual & much technical advise. The following was performed on this engine---new fabricated steel fuel tank, all new fuel lines, rebuilt carb, made a new needle valve on my lathe, rebuilt muffler, head removed & cleaned. Valves lapped, new oiler, fabricated a temporary ignition system in lieu of a magneto, mounted on cart.
